The following natural ingredients will produce lovely dyed eggs:
Beet Juice (2 - 4 cups) |
Chopped Red Cabbage (2 - 4 cups) |
Blueberry Juice 2 - 4 cups) |
Brewed Coffee 2 - 4 cups) |
Beige to Bright Pink | Pale to Royal Blue | Lavender | Deep Mocha Color |
Tumeric (1 tablespoon in 1 cup of water) |
Cranberry Juice (2 - 4 cups) |
Onion Skins w/ Black Pepper Corns (4 - 6 cups in enough water to cover the skins) |

Bright Orange | Pale Pink | Beige to Mauve Tones |
OR... keep your eye out for araucana eggs, a true gift of Mother Nature. Arucauna chickens lay eggs that are pale blue, green, and gold. They run anywhere from $1.50 to $2.00 for a half dozen, and they keep their lovely colors when boiled.
